Dear Members,SPEA had a letter published in the Ottawa Citizen this morning (See below), which was a commentary on an article that ran on Tuesday, March 31st. Our letter is below and the original article to which it refers is also included as an attachment. There was also a very good editorial piece in the Toronto Star today by a professor from Mount Royal College in Calgary, which is also attached, and talks about possible consequences of privatization of AECL amongst other things. Regards Michael Ivanco Vice President - SPEA |

http://santaclausfund.com/comment/article/583731 One union not warm to the building of French reactors in Ontario is ours. We represent 920 engineers and scientists who design Canada's CANDU power reactors and we represent most of Canada's nuclear power reactor design capability. We are supported by thousands of highly skilled men and women working in companies throughout Canada who manufacture our parts and help us build the reactors. |
